CHOOSING YOUR MEDIUM/OIL OR ACRYLIC
A. CLASS ACTIVITY
1. OIL PAINT/SMALL PAINTING ON PAPER
a. Squeezing out paint
b. Fat over lean. Painting with solvent
c. Painting with medium
d. Cleaning the brush with solvent
e. Using non toxic medium
f. Faster drying mediums

B. CLASS ACTIVITY
2. ACRYLIC PAINT/SMALL PAINTING ON PAPER
a. Squeezing out paint
b. Paint with or without medium
c. Cleaning the brush
d. Drying time
e. Painting over dried paint film

C. CLASS ACTIVITY
D. CLEANING UP
a. Throw away excess paint or
place in small covered plastic box
b. Clean palette paper or throw away
c. Clean brush with solvent or water
Gently brush back and forth
Wipe with towel. Clean with
Ivory soap or dish soap.
